of the Juzo Academy
Scope and general information
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") of the Juzo Academy apply to all agreements concluded between a participant (consumer or entrepreneur, hereinafter referred to as "participant") and the Juzo Academy regarding participation in events (workshops, seminars or symposia) organised by the Juzo Academy.
Registration
Registration for an event organised by the Juzo Academy constitutes a binding offer by the participant to conclude a contract. The contract is only concluded once the organiser has confirmed the registration in writing or electronically. The organiser reserves the right to reject registrations without giving reasons. The programme and dates are subject to change due to current events.

Services
Seminars:
Our services consist of
the teaching of the seminar content described
the seminar documents
the confirmation of participation or the certificate of participation
standard seminar catering (for open seminars).
The seminars and workshops are held in selected conference hotels. When registering for the seminar/workshop, you can, if you wish, make your hotel room reservation through the Juzo Academy. You will receive information about the hotel or venue with your registration confirmation.
Symposiums:
Our services consist of
the provision of the programme content described
the confirmation of participation or the certificate of participation
the usual catering.
The lectures and, where applicable, workshops are held in selected conference hotels/event locations. When registering for the symposium, you can, if you wish, make your hotel room reservation through the Juzo Academy. You will receive information about the hotel or venue with your registration confirmation.
Obligations of the organiser
For seminars:
On behalf of and on the instructions of Julius Zorn GmbH, the Juzo Academy is responsible for the conscientious preparation of events, the careful selection and supervision of trainers, the accuracy of the service description and the proper provision of seminar services.
For symposia:
On behalf of and on the instructions of Julius Zorn GmbH, the Juzo Academy ensures the conscientious preparation of events and the accuracy of the service description.

Place of jurisdiction and applicable law
All legal relationships between the parties shall be governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Augsburg.
Fees
The services included in the fees are specified separately for each event. If only parts of the training course are attended, it is not possible to make up for the missed time or to reclaim a proportion of the fees.

Withdrawal
Juzo Academy may withdraw from the contract or cancel the event on behalf of and on the instructions of Julius Zorn GmbH before the start of an event if the minimum number of participants is not reached or if there are other important reasons (e.g. illness of the trainers, force majeure). In this case, Juzo Academy will inform the participants immediately. Any fees already paid will be refunded.
Participants may withdraw their registration at any time, free of charge, up to 14 days before the start of the event. For cancellations between 13 and 5 days before the start of the event, we charge 50% of the seminar fee. For cancellations less than 5 days before the start of the event, we charge the full fee.
You are, of course, welcome to nominate a replacement participant.
Cancellation fees for reservations made on behalf of customers (e.g. hotel reservations) will be charged to the customer.
Data protection
If you bring photos of patients or examples of care to the event, you confirm that the legally compliant consent for the transfer and processing of the data has been obtained in advance from the patients concerned.
Language and Prevailing Version
These General Terms and Conditions are provided in multiple languages. In the event of any discrepancies, ambiguities, or issues of interpretation, the German version shall exclusively prevail.
